Back with another one from Ammunition Wines. This one is a Merlot based red blend called The Equalizer. (Who can't love a name like that?)

As soon as you open the bottle, take a sniff, it gives off a nice deep aroma that already sets it apart and does give you a small preview of some spice.
I didn't let this one sit, I just poured and went for it.
Hitting the tongue it offers a friendly hello, extremely smooth. As it moves back it stays smooth and shows it's medium body self. The ending is just nice. It has a little spice that hits the back of your throat, but is pretty mild.
This is a bottle you should try. Throw some meat on the grill, open the Equalizer, sit back and relax. Don't feel like having barbecue, that's an easy one, open the bottle, sit back and relax. This is a nice wine to start the evening off with, it will stand on it's own with no issues.
