Thoughts:

So I picked this bottle up because it seemed interesting. I didn't think about CA being divided by a line. So why not. When I first tasted this bottle I was a little disappointment. I was expecting something a little bigger then what was in the bottle.

The nose was pretty smooth, thankfully no harsh alcohol smell right out of the bottle. The legs, while small, coated the glass well and were slow moving. The first sip was interesting. The beginning was very mellow and it showed the wine to be fairly light, almost like a pinot. The middle of the wine was very similar to the beginning, very mellow. The taste continued throughout the entire sip. There was a little aftertaste but nothing crazy.

Overall this was an average bottle. For a mid week drinker it might be okay or one used for cooking. I wouldn't recommend starting out a dinner party with this bottle. It might be a 3rd of 4th bottle in reality. I did revisit the the bottle the next day and it did open up some, so if you end up picking this bottle up, be sure and let it breath for a bit before drinking.
